THREE POSTERS
FOR
FOOD WASTE
This is a project to create a series of three professional quality print ads/posters that could be used in a Public Service Announcement (PSA) print campaign. These posters encourage people to reduce amount of their food waste and donate their food to the Global Foodbanking Network.
While 30-40 percent of the food goes to waste in the US (USDA), there is about 2,500 people die from starvation a day in the world. (United Nation)
These designs ask people, "Select all squares with food waste." There are different forms of food. depends on where it is and who uses it, the value of food changes drastically.
There are different forms that this design can be used. Posters on a street, wall of grocery stores, on devices as digital forms. I hope this advertisement will trigger people to reconsider about their food waste and lives whom they can save.
